Welcome to my little corner of the web; I'm Dianne Sylvan, your host here at Dancing Down the Moon.

I am the author of The Circle Within: Creating a Wiccan Spiritual Tradition, published by Llewellyn in September of 2003, and The Body Sacred, which went into print October 2005. I have had various articles published in Pagan almanacs and magazines, as well as a forthcoming anthology on religious perspectives on animal rights (I'll post more information as it becomes available).

I currently live in Austin, Texas with my neurotic cat Cosmo (aren't they all neurotic, really?). I have been a Wiccan for fourteen years and have lived in Austin for ten of those. I'm a Scorpio, which will be readily apparent once you read some of my work.

I also have a MySpace page now; feel free to add me if you like.

A bit of a warning: I am an abysmal correspondent. If you email me or leave a message on MySpace please don't be offended if you don't hear back immediately. I do try to answer all of my emails, but I pretty much suck at it and have been known to take a couple of months to reply. I also tend not to respond to blog comments unless a specific question is asked, and even then it might take a while, so please do not take it personally. My personal life is a bit insane and my Internet access is often spotty.

For more information about me and this site, check out both the Frequently Asked Questions and the Seldom-Asked Questions pages.

Yes, that's me.
